Do images have appropriate alternative text? Is the alternate text easy to understand and meaningful to you?

(Section 508 Paragraph A, B / W3C 1.1)

Alternative text is an attribute added to images on a web page that provides a textual explanation of the pictures to anyone who has trouble viewing it properly. If an image lacks alt text, it can be difficult for people with visual impairments to tell whether or not the image is for decoration or contains important information. Whether an alt attribute is meaningful or not is sometimes a matter of judgment and personal preference.
