You are invited to come and explore in the Tobii Dynavox Discovery Lab! Using lecture and case studies, participants will LEARN about communication, access and education solutions for students with complex needs. You will then make your way through 3 interactive lab stations and DO guided hands-on activities. Opportunities to APPLY your knowledge in practical ways will be provided. Each participant will leave the session with a handful of resources and practical tips that can be used the very next day!

Presenter: Patrick Brune, M.S. CCC/SLP has provided assessment, therapy, and consultation services for children and adults with severe speech and language disabilities for over 30 years. Prior to his work with Tobii Dynavox, he started his AAC training while working at the University Nebraska Medical Center, providing services to both children and adults with complex communication needs. He's worked as a clinical supervisor for Queens College, in New York, and as a related service provider for the NYC Department of Education, providing AAC support for preschool and school age students. Patrick is a member of the Tobii Dynavox Training and Implementation team and has presented and completed workshops nationally and internationally.
